The Rise of Nebulon -Prologue-

It was a perfect day on Mobius. The sun was shining, a light breeze blowing... Everything was peaceful...

In a town nearby, a group of friends were hanging out. "So then I told him: "No thanks, I'm lesbian."" The girl's friends all burst out laughing. "You should have seen his face. But then I told him I wasn't really but I still wasn't interested. After all I already have my dream boyfriend~" She said, nuzzling the hedgehog next to her. "Gosh, Indigo, you sure know how to pull a prank. Teach me your secret..." A black she-wolf said, leaning on the table slightly. The blonde next to her panicked. "I-I don't think that's necessary, Persy..." Persy looked at the blonde. "What is it, Shine? Scared I'll steal your boxers again~?" Everyone laughed again, leaving Shine with a bright blush. "Yeah well, anyway, any news from Eggman? And why is he trying to "Help" us all of a sudden?" The hedgehog next to Indigo said. "You know how unpredictable he is, Dash." Indigo said softly. "True, very true." Said Persephone. "What do you guys think?" Dash looked towards the twins at the one end of the table. "I'm going to skull fuck him that's what I'll do..." The one said calmly. "You're not serious." His twin said. "Chill, Delta, of course I'm not serious... ...I'd only do that to a babe." This made Persy’s eye twitch. "OH YEAH!? I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" The others were surprised by her sudden outburst. "Calm down Persy, if he tries that, I'll personally lay the smack down on him~" The blonde said, pulling Persy close to him, wrapping his arm around her waist. Just then an azure hedgehog arrived, a male neon green hedgehog on his left and a female pink hedgehog on his right. "Hey you made it!" Delta chirped cheerfully, wagging his tail. Then they all stared as there was another hedgehog behind him. "Why'd you have to bring shadow?!" Another surprise was that they all wore full clothes for a change. "Clothes?" Shadow sat down on a lonesome chair on the other end of the table. "Only a fool would think that I'd actually show up naked..." Manic perked his ears up and wooted. "So it's THAT kind of party! HIT IT!" 'I'm sexy and I know it' started playing as Manic ripped off his clothing and swung them in the air. Everyone was silent and stared at him as if he had rabies. Dash covered Indigo's eyes as she got a nosebleed. The black hedgehog's eye twitched as Manic continued then before long punched him in the face. "Oh, Shads, don't be mad just 'cause I'm hot and you're not!" With that he laughed and ran out, Shadow hot on his tail. "Well..." Shine started. "That was random..." Persephone finished. "Correction: That was Manic." Sonic muttered with an annoyed growl.

The group enjoyed the rest of the day calmly. Sonic paid the bills for their food and drinks before joining the others. "I think I need to put Indigo to bed, she's been up since 3 Am..." Dash said softly with a smile as he rand his fingers through Indigo's hair gently, her being half asleep while standing. "I'm afraid you won't be making it home..." Said another voice behind them. They all turned around to see a male with a cape covering his body and eyes. "You're all in grave danger... And there's nothing you can do... so prepare for the apocalypse..." He said. It sent shivers up everyone's backs. "Wh-what do you mean?" Sonia asked. But he was already gone. No sooner than he disappeared, the atmosphere became heavy, and breathing became nearly impossible. "Wh-what's happening...?" Persephone asked before she became unbalanced and collapse. "P-Persy!" Shine's ears dropped but soon he ended up the same. "I warned you... Very long ago, Sonic the Hedgehog..." Sonic was the last one awake. He twitched his ears as the figured continued. "W-what...?" The figure looked back at him. "Your time is up... You made the mistake of changing the future a very long time ago... now you will suffer for it..." A purple wave spread across Mobius, energy leaking out of the earth. The mobians struggled to breath as they glowed a particular  color before shrinking. As the glow faded. Cards laid everywhere. Each of them having a certain sign. Then they disappeared into nothing. "It is now a time... for a NEW race to inhabit Mobius!"
